A client sent me a Bachmann N scale Thomas model to upgrade. They initially wanted only a mobile decoder, but I convinced them to send me Annie or Clarabelle to house electronics. Then, I showed them that there is room for a Blunami 1100 decoder. The rest is history!

I think these window molds are part of the roof. They are a tight fit requiring a razor blade to lift.
The windows behind Annie’s face aren’t attached to the side windows, so breaking part of them away for sound venting was easy.
The L-hook coupler was too bulky, so I replaced it with a piece of brass wire. One end is a loop attached to Thomas’s chassis; the other hooks into Annie’s L-hook box.
