This Goose uses a 14V bulb to light two headlights.Adding extra wires can be messy. I added a little shelf to separate the exposed worm drive and flexible wires. The “boxcar” part of the Goose had room, but I still wanted to keep things compact. I used contact cement to adhere the decoder to the frame. The smaller bulb attached to the PCB is the second smallest bulb I’ve seen in a model, second only to Z scale models. The compound gear should remain in one position along the shaft, but it didn’t. It slid to and fro, rendering the whole gearbox faulty.I amended the sliding compound gear by placing a sliver of heat shrink tubing along one side. There is just enough space for the gear to spin freely but remain held in position. This took very fine tweezer work and patience.
